Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Social Worker.
• Substantial experience in managing teams within children's social care.
• Significant knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and procedures relating to children in care.
• Experience developing and monitoring performance frameworks, quality assurance processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Children in Care teams to ensure high-quality practice and positive outcomes.
• Drive placement stability and permanence planning for children in care.
• Build strong partnerships with health, education, housing, police, carers and community organisations.
• Monitor performance, quality assurance and service standards to drive improvement.
• Lead, motivate and develop managers and teams with a culture of accountability and learning.
• Manage resources, budgets and service improvement projects for sustainable services.
