Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited in York is seeking a Service Manager to coordinate planned and reactive building maintenance across a complex operational estate. This site-based role requires a strong technical FM background and a hands-on leader who can drive compliance and customer service.

You will manage maintenance operatives and suppliers, review RAMS, permits to work and CAFM reporting, and monitor KPIs, cost targets and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in building services (mechanical/electrical) or hard FM maintenance.
• Experience supervising teams, subcontractors and safe systems of work.
• HNC or equivalent in building, civil, electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Management-level Health & Safety qualification such as SMSTS.
• Proficient in CAFM and Microsoft Office; stakeholder management.
• Willingness to undertake relevant specialist authorisation training.

HVAC Recruitment is looking for an experienced Service Manager to coordinate planned and reactive building maintenance across a complex operational estate in York. A technical FM management role with ownership of compliance, contractors, minor works, commercial performance and customer service.

The role
