Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a passionate manager to lead the Supported Accommodation for Autistic Adults service in Bath. You will oversee day-to-day delivery, ensure contractual standards, and foster a positive environment for staff and clients.

You will work with commissioners, internal teams, and external partners to drive improvement and embed changes across the project, maintaining a visible presence on site.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of working with autistic adults and the care and support requirements of those experiencing social exclusion.
  • Managerial experience within the sector, including leading teams through change and promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork and high performance.
  • Experience of property management.
  • Experience of managing budgets and achieving value for money within services.
  • Experience of working in partnership with Local Authority Commissioners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead an effective and motivated team, promoting a positive culture and supporting staff to provide expert support to clients.
  • Manage the Support Workers team, including 1-to-1s, objectives, monitoring performance, and onboarding new starters.
  • Ensure clients receive high-quality, person-centred services using a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
  • Provide advice, information and signposting to relevant services, and ensure client views shape service design and delivery.
  • Establish positive relationships with external agencies to maximise opportunities for clients.
  • Maintain team performance in line with KPIs and contracted targets, with regular reporting.

Job description

Our client is looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to manage their Supported Accommodation for Autistic Adults service in Bath. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day service delivery, ensuring contractual and organisational standards are met while creating a positive, supportive environment where both staff and clients can thrive. Working closely with internal colleagues, commissioners and external partners, you'll drive continuous service improvement and ensure positive outcomes for the people supported by the service. You will maintain a visible and active presence at the project and ensure service improvements are successfully embedded.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about leading teams, developing services and making a lasting difference within the local community.

What you'll be doing
