What makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work: Are you looking for a step up in your career? Or are you already an experienced Social care leader? Are you truly passionate about providing the best person-centred support, and about leading your team to deliver our "best lives possible" mission? There are other some great benefits too:
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard enriching the lives of the people we support with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our teams are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support, and in return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
This is the perfect opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, positive and upbeat attitude and passion for the people we support. Deputising across four different services in the Basingstoke area, you will be working with many different people, so being flexible and having great interpersonal skills is a must. Working with the current experienced and dedicated Service Leader Level 3 (Manager), you will all strive to ensure the people we support are able to be part of their local and wider community.
The services are within a few miles of each other and accessible by car, (so being a driver is essential). This is a great opportunity to make a genuine difference, where you will be responsible for leading an engaged and motivated team to change lives and deliver person-centred outcomes for every person we support. You will also take the lead by driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture, and ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better.
You should have good time management skills and a good understanding of CQC requirements. The people we support need assistance with many aspects of their lives including personal care, mobility using their wheelchairs, and support to enjoy their interests and hobbies. They enjoy activities like bowling, going out for lunch at cafés, attending regular clubs, going on boat trips, and enjoying companionship with like-minded people. They are truly living their best lives possible!
You will have experience working with people who present behaviours requiring intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life. Additionally, you should have a keen eye for detail and a drive to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines. Comfort with basic IT systems is needed, with training available. Ideally, you will hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care at Level 3, or be willing to complete it, with support from us.
Our values are important: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable. We look for people who have a lust for life, a positive outlook, work hard and play hard, and are passionate about getting the best support for others. Believing in our 'Best lives possible' mission is essential.
