Nuclear Medicine - Wrexham Maelor Hospital
An opportunity has arisen at Wrexham Maelor Hospital to operationally manage the local Nuclear Medicine service and outsourced mobile PET-CT service (based at Wrexham). The department is part of the wider BCUHB radiology service, which has 3 SPECT-CT scanners, including a recently installed GE870DR system, and a local radiopharmacy. A mobile PET-CT service operates three days a week. Applications are welcomed from technologists and radiographers with nuclear medicine experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage the nuclear medicine and mobile PET-CT services, including staff management, service optimization, and quality and safety standards. They will work closely with principal radiographers and regional service leads to develop nuclear medicine and PET-CT services, contributing to future regional centre of excellence plans.
Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh is preferred; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
