Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our team dedicated to building Cloud-scale data services focused on providing Infrastructure data services to Intergraph’s public Cloud offering Smart Cloud. The ideal candidate will be familiar with distributed system architecture and possess a strong foundation in infrastructure management systems and Public Cloud Architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for building and engineering the Cloud infrastructure, including maintaining (multi-vendor) virtual servers, Cloud Infrastructure automation, and monitoring services, supporting Intergraph’s Public Cloud.

Education / Qualifications

• The Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for monitoring, implementing, and managing a highly available Cloud infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
• Responsibilities include public cloud architecture, engineering, and Level 2/3 operation and support.
• Configure infrastructure and applications for high performance and high availability to meet business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5+ years of relevant industry experience in enterprise IT environments, including:
• Implementation, migration, and support of cloud-based infrastructure.
• Successful management of Azure and Windows OS environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft server infrastructure, including Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Experience managing, administering, and engineering a multi-datacenter environment with over 1000 servers.
• Experience with server infrastructure, platform sizing, and tuning on Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and management tools.
• Experience with IT automation and configuration tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of identity/access management solutions and best practices for authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-based processes like monitoring, capacity planning, facilities management, performance tuning, asset management, disaster recovery, and data center support.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies using documentation and online resources.
• Experience with AKS/Kubernetes is desirable.
• Candidates should provide tangible evidence of experience in these areas from past projects.
