Job summary

Cornerstone in Peterhead is seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Service Lead to head our largest housing support service for 11 people with learning disabilities. You will lead Lead Practitioners and Support Practitioners, provide direction, and ensure high-quality, person-centred support.

The role reports to the Associate Director, involves driving continuous improvement, building relationships with families and professionals, and taking on Registered Manager responsibilities to grow

Qualifications

• Experience of leading, supporting or developing teams within Health & Social Care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a dedicated team of Lead Practitioners and Support Practitioners.
• Drive continuous improvement across the service.
• Promote a culture of high-quality, person-centred support.
• Ensure the people we support are empowered to achieve their goals, develop independence and live the life they choose.
• Collaborate with other Service Leads and Lead Practitioners to share learning and best practice.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and the wider community.
• Take on Registered Manager responsibilities to further develop leadership experience.
