Job summary

Sense Scotland is seeking a Team Leader for our Housing Support Service in Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire. You will guide a dedicated team, ensure high-quality care, and support adults with complex needs in a compassionate, person-centred manner.

You will supervise, coach, and monitor staff performance, manage rotas, and contribute to care planning with families and professionals. A driving licence and SVQ level 3 are required.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent recognised by the SSSC.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Flexible to work across days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong IT and organisational skills for admin tasks.
• Experience with person-centred care and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision, coaching and on-shift training to staff.
• Lead a team to deliver flexible, person-centred care for service users and their families.
• Manage staffing rotas and adjust for needs of service users and staff requirements.
• Oversee implementation and updating of individual support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and staff attendance in line with standards.
• Support staff development and ensure skills for person-centred care.
