Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Service Engineer to cover the southern half of the UK. You will service waste handling equipment from balers to dock levellers and scissor lifts, with training provided for equipment you don’t yet know. The role offers a clear path to Team Leader with progression opportunities.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday with 50 hours guaranteed, overtime at time and a half, and a 1 in 7 on-call rota (£700). A company van is provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical skills with wiring and fault finding
• Driving Licence required
• Beneficial: experience with balers, compactors, loading bay equipment, scissor lifts or similar

Responsibilities

• Service waste handling equipment including balers and compactors.
• Service loading bay equipment such as dock levellers and scissor lifts.
• Cover the southern half of the UK visiting customer sites.
• Full training will be provided for equipment you don’t already know about.
• On-call rota 1 in 7 (£700) and overtime paid at time and a half.
