Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a Service Engineer to join a well-established hire company in Northamptonshire. The role offers a £45,000 basic salary with DOE and includes full product training, a company pension, and holiday entitlement that grows with service.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose and resolve on-site issues, oversee stock, and ensure health and safety standards are met, providing first-line support and documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold an NVQ or City & Guilds in Engineering, however time served engineers will also be strongly considered.
• Ideally have experience working on Cranes, Construction Plant, Agricultural Machinery or Forestry Equipment.
• Hold a Full UK driving license

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment within the yard.
• Ensure all service activities are accurately documented and meet Health & Safety standards.
• Take ownership of the quality of equipment leaving the yard, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Respond to breakdowns swiftly - both in the yard and on-site - diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• When required, provide first-line technical support to internal teams and external customers.
• Oversee stock control, and advise on parts requirements.
• Support the loading/unloading and safe storage of yard equipment.
