Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Service Engineer (Fire & Security) to carry out planned preventative maintenance across sites in and around Edinburgh, including Livingston, with a local patch and no overnight stays.

The role offers a 39-hour week (8am–5pm, Friday 4pm), on‑call duties (one in eight), a base salary of £35,000–£40,000 with OTE circa £48,000, a company car, funded certifications and structured career progression.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a Service Engineer or Technician in Fire & Security.
• Knowledge of PPM, CCTV, Fire, Alarm, BMS, Configuration, Network, Security, Access Control and Intruder systems.
