Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is representing a market-leading OEM to recruit a Service Engineer (CNC / Tooling Machinery) on a Taunton regional patch. The role covers servicing and maintaining CNC tooling machinery with planned and reactive maintenance, offering Monday to Friday work and a company vehicle.

You will receive specialist training, a home-based setup with no compulsory weekend work, a site-based bonus and the chance to increase earnings through overtime.

Qualifications

• Service Engineer or similar role.
• Background in CNC or Tooling Machinery.
• Full UK Driving Licence; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance on CNC or Tooling Machinery.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and breakdown support for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Operate across a regional patch with Monday to Friday coverage.
• Site-based travel and on-site tasks; overtime opportunities.

Overview

Service Engineer (CNC / Machine Tools) – £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Door to Door + Mon-Fri + Training + Benefits
Taunton (South West Patch)

Join a market leading OEM representing a brand synonymous with quality. You will be working directly for the manufacturer, receiving the tools, parts and equipment you need, plus specialist training to expand your skillset. The role involves servicing and maintaining CNC tooling machinery across a regional patch with a focus on both planned and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance on CNC or Tooling Machinery
• Fault finding, diagnosis and breakdown support for mechanical and electrical issues
• Operate across a regional patch with Monday to Friday coverage
• Site-based travel and on-site tasks, with the option to increase earnings through overtime
• Full training on Servicing and Commissioning
