Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer (Machine Tools) based in Manchester to service, maintain and decommission specialist machinery. You will benefit from elite level training and exposure to world-class toolmakers like Okuma and Makino, within a leading distributor.

Role covers the Northwest of England and Scotland with fully funded travel and overnight stays, plus door-to-door pay and a private car allowance.

Qualifications

• Service/Maintenance Engineer with machine tool background.
• Willingness to undergo elite level, tailored training on bespoke machinery.
• Experience servicing cutting-edge machine tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, maintaining and decommissioning machine tools.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults with ongoing training provided.
• Travelling to customer sites across the North of England and Scotland.
• Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week, door-to-door pay.

Are you a Service Engineer from a machine tool background looking to work with the latest cutting-edge technology, within an industry expert providing elite level training in Europe and Japan, on world renowned machine tools produced by technical giants Okuma and Makino?

In this role you will be servicing cutting edge machine tools at Blue Chip client’s sites, covering a large area in the Northwest of England and Scotland, with fully funded travel and overnight stay. With formal courses and shadowing best-in-class Engineers, you will become a rounded electromechanical Engineer able to fix any type of machine.

The Role:

• Installing, servicing, maintaining, and decommissioning machine tools
