Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer in Leeds to join a leading machine tool distributor. You will receive elite level training on renowned tooling from Okuma and Makino and grow into a technical expert within the field.

The role involves installing, servicing, maintaining and decommissioning machine tools, diagnosing faults with ongoing training, and traveling to client sites across the UK. 37.5 hours per week, door-to-door pay, and overtime-enhanced earnings are available.

Are you a Service Engineer from a machine tool background looking to work with the latest cutting-edge technology, within an industry expert providing elite level training in Europe and Japan, on world renowned machine tools produced by technical giants Okuma and Makino?

In this role you will be servicing cutting edge machine tools at Blue Chip client’s sites, covering a national patch, with fully funded travel and overnight stay. With formal courses and shadowing best-in-class Engineers, you will become a rounded electromechanical Engineer able to fix any type of machine.
