Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer (CNC / Machine Tools) in Birmingham. You will install, service, and maintain bespoke CNC tools for blue-chip clients, travelling nationally across the Northwest England and Scotland.

The role includes formal training and opportunities to progress to senior technical positions. Salary sits at £40,000–£45,000 with overtime OTE£50k, door-to-door pay, private car use and bespoke training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer with machine tools.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Willingness to travel across the North of England and Scotland.

Are you a Service Engineer from a machine tool background, looking to work with bespoke CNC tools, produced by the likes of Okuma and Makino, for an industry giant, offering national travel and progression opportunities to senior positions?

In this role you will be servicing cutting edge machine tools at Blue Chip client’s sites, covering a large area in the Northwest of England and Scotland, with fully funded travel and overnight stay. With formal courses and shadowing best-in-class Engineers, you will become a rounded electromechanical Engineer able to fix any type of machine.
