Yokogawa UK Ltd invites applications for a Service & Support Engineer. Based from Runcorn, the role involves travel to customer sites across the UK, Europe and offshore to deliver first-class support and act as the technical focal point from sales handover to project closure.
You will bring experience in oil & gas / petrochemical / Industrial Automation, an HNC in engineering or process-related subject, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and Health and Safety at Work Act.
Yokogawa UK Ltd offers an exciting opportunity for a highly driven Service & Support Engineer with a strong track record within the Industrial Automation sector.
Reporting to a Customer Centric Team Leader, your role as a Service & Support Engineer will be to provide first class support whilst being the technical focal point from hand over by sales to project closing. Your remit will include project initiation system design; SIL classification, project planning; detailed design; safety lifecycle, configuration; provide technical specification to procurement and supervision of suppliers; internal testing; executing or leading the Factory Acceptance Test, transition to site, site installation, commissioning and Site Acceptance Test, resulting in a customer accepted and handed over system, with documents authorised by the customer; monitoring and controlling the quality of work; and formalising project closures.
Applicants with Offshore certificates are highly desired, however full training can be provided.
Salary: Competitive salary and incentive package depending on experience. Overtime and TOIL where relevant.

Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs.
Location: Whilst this position is based from our offices in Runcorn Cheshire, there will be a requirement to travel to customer sites in UK, Europe, offshore and overseas as required for each project.
