HPC Compressed Air Systems is seeking field service engineers responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on compressors and related systems.
- Planning and completing maintenance tasks efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensuring compliance with procedural and documentation standards.
- Accurately completing and submitting service reports, timesheets, and other necessary documents.
- Adapting to various tasks to optimize labor resources.
- Maintaining communication with customers and HPC regarding job status.
- Resolving technical and safety issues.
- Promoting a safe working environment and ensuring colleagues understand safety responsibilities.
- Undertaking product training as required, both in the UK and Germany.
- Being available for emergency out-of-hours duties as per the call-out rota.
- Completing maintenance tasks on time and accurately.
- Properly handling and signing off service reports and checklists.
- Keeping detailed records of work via timesheets.
Skills:
- Experience as a field service or industrial engineer.
- Background in servicing rotating machinery.
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- IT literacy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical training with an HND, HNC, or equivalent, plus at least two years of practical experience with industrial rotating equipment.
- Experience working with industrial rotating machines in a service capacity, demonstrating good manual skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driving license is essential.
- Experience in the compressed air industry is preferred.
