The role involves providing job surveys, product servicing, and aftercare services to our nationwide customer base. The goal is to maintain the highest levels of customer service to enable effective, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of quality products and services, following company process standards and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate client/customer job site surveys
- Exceed customer expectations by providing an exceptional and personalized level of service, ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with the Customer Service Installations Co-ordinator on job allocations
- Ensure customer servicing and aftercare are performed efficiently, accurately, and promptly
- Maintain accurate service and aftercare records and related paperwork
- Troubleshoot and resolve service or warranty issues swiftly
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Installations Co-ordinator on service or warranty issues
- Work with Production and Product Development to resolve technical issues and suggest improvements
- Check the quality and quantities of outgoing and incoming components, liaising with Despatch & Goods In Senior Operative for replacements
- Use pneumatic and electric hand tools
- Drive safely and courteously at all times
- Drive over varying distances as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear uniform to standard
- Keep the vehicle clean and perform regular safety checks, reporting issues to the line manager
- Meet daily and weekly targets, reporting progress daily
- Focus on high-quality output in all work
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
- At least one year’s experience in surveying
- Two years’ experience in windows and doors installation
- Background in UPVC/window manufacturing is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand-powered tools is desirable
- Flexible start and finish times to meet customer needs
- Full European category “B” driving license
- Professional driving skills with maturity
- Self-motivated, focused, and flexible
