Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to cover High Wycombe, Welwyn Garden City and Home Counties. You will service, install and repair conservatories, windows and doors, with focus on quality and customer care.

Applicants should have prior service engineering experience in windows/doors, a full UK driving licence and strong problem-solving skills. The role requires a proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

An established and leading home improvement specialist is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join its growing team, covering High Wycombe, Welwyn Garden City and the Home Counties. Specialising in the installation of orangeries, conservatories, garden rooms, glazed extensions, living spaces, and aluminium windows and doors, the company prides itself on delivering exceptional products and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service work to identify and rectify issues with products within the warranty period.
• Install and repair conservatories, windows and doors.
• Replace sealed units, sashes and door slabs.
• Adjust doors and windows to ensure correct operation.
• Replace components such as hinges, handles and other hardware.
• Diagnose and repair conservatory roof leaks.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

About You

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer or in the installation/service of windows, doors and conservatories.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent practical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, flexible approach to work.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to use your initiative and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
