Job summary

FläktGroup UK is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to join our field-based regional team covering Essex and Hertfordshire. You will provide technical support, carry out PPMs, repairs, refurbishments, commissioning, and respond to emergencies with a 4-hour SLA.

Apply with UK driving licence, F-Gas qualification, and extensive A/C service experience. You will mentor apprentices and ensure safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• F-Gas qualification (C&G 2079-11) is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Extensive A/C service experience including VRV/VRF, chillers and splits.
• Strong fault-finding ability and good communication.
• Solid IT knowledge (Excel, Word, email, databases).
• Security checks / enhanced DBS clearance may be required.
• PASMA/MEWP certification is preferred.
• Regional geographic familiarity with your area.
• Manual handling and Safe Pass training are expected.

What You’ll Be Doing

What You Bring

We’re looking for a hands-on expert who’s proactive, professional, and always focused on delivering top-quality service.

• City & Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• F-Gas Qualification (C&G 2079-11)
• Full UK driving licence
• Extensive A/C service experience, including VRV, VRF, chillers, splits & close control systems.
• Strong fault-finding ability and excellent communication skills.
• Confidence working independently with solid IT knowledge (Excel, Word, email, databases).
• The postholder will be required to complete security checks, obtain a clear enhanced DBS, and other clearances as necessary.
• PASMA / MEWP certification.
• Geographic familiarity with your region.
• Manual handling and Safe Pass training.
