Citron Hygiene is a leading provider of washroom and waste services in the UK. We are seeking new Hygiene Technicians to join our Service Team. As a Hygiene Technician, you will play a critical role in servicing our customers' washrooms. If you enjoy working independently and as part of a team, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, this could be the role for you.

A Hygiene Technician is responsible for service duties including, but not limited to, driving to client sites to provide top-quality delivery and collection of sanitary disposal units, washroom products such as soap dispensers, air care, and more. Ensuring that the washroom or facility is serviced to an exemplary standard.

Responsibilities:

• Driving from home to customer premises on a pre-planned route (single or multiple stops depending on customer requirements).
• Carrying out service and exchange of Citron Hygiene products on-site.
• Representing Citron Hygiene and providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintaining communication with the Service Management team throughout the day to ensure all stops are completed and issues are escalated/resolved promptly.
• Returning to the Service Centre once or twice a week to unload and replenish stock.

Qualifications:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence, with a maximum of 3 points.
• ADR Licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
• ADR training may be required.
• Patience, as the role involves travel during peak periods, which may be affected by traffic.
• Comfortable working within washroom environments for all users.
• Professional conduct is essential for representing the business and serving customers effectively.

Our clients include various sectors, such as CQC-registered care providers, including care and nursing homes. COVID-19 has significantly impacted vulnerable populations, particularly in care settings.

The SAGE Social Care Working Group highlights that care home residents are at heightened risk from COVID-19 due to health vulnerabilities and outbreak risks. According to regulations, anyone entering CQC-registered premises must be vaccinated unless exempt. It is desirable that candidates have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
