Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury is recruiting for a casual driver to join their busy, dynamic Service team. As a casual driver, you may be required to collect and deliver both cars and parts to retail and corporate customers, working hard to consistently exceed customer expectations and ensure that we provide an exceptional level of service to all our customers!

Here at Mercedes Benz of Shrewsbury you will be reporting to the accomplished Aftersales Manager Matt Lockley. Along with the extensive knowledge and support from Matt and the rest of the team, you can look forward to ongoing training opportunities that provide you with the right career path and to accelerate your career further!

Service Drivers at Lookers play a vital role in supporting our whole Aftersales department, by prioritising their time and workload efficiently, and they also help to maintain our vehicles ensuring they are clean and in a roadworthy condition, both inside and out. You will drive safely and in accordance with current road and traffic legislation and you will notify your line manager of any defects, damage, or incidents that occur on the road.

Responsibilities

• Deliver both cars and parts to retail and corporate customers
• Visit our other Lookers dealerships in the area
• Ensure our vehicles are kept in a clean and roadworthy condition
• Drive in accordance with current road and traffic legislation to represent our business
• Consistently provide an exceptional level of service to all our customers
• Maintain the highest levels of professionalism

Qualifications

For insurance purposes, all candidates must have held their full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, as you will be driving some high roofed/long wheelbase vehicles. You should also be reliable, have excellent communication skills, be flexible, and approach your role with a positive and professional attitude.
