A leading engineering staffing provider in the UK is seeking a Service Desk Team Lead to manage a small team and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires strong Microsoft technology expertise and willingness to handle technical tasks directly. Candidates should have prior experience in customer service and management. Travel may be required to other offices, mainly in Basingstoke.
My client is looking to bring on board a Service Desk Team lead with a strong Microsoft technology background, firewalls, networking etc, solid customer service experience and being able to bring this into the IT department.
Service Desk Team Lead will be responsible for 2 direct reports, happy to look at strong technical candidates looking to move into management/leadership.
The Service Desk Team Lead shouldn’t be afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty, it is only a small IT team within a medium size IT company, employing around 200 people.
Although the role is based in Basingstoke, there will be some travel involved to other offices, some of them could be in Europe, but mainly Basingstoke.
Microsoft servers, desktop footprint, ERP Sage X3, firewalls sonic wall, VPN Zscaler knowledge is essential.
You must be able to drive. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
