Richard Irvin FM Limited, part of the RSK Group, is recruiting a Service Coordinator for Glasgow on a part-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities for our team of engineers and subcontractors.

Based in Glasgow, the position centres on delivering responsive service coordination, ensuring customer commitments are met, and maintaining efficient operations across our multi-disciplinary office environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create scheduled service visits using the PPM planner for engineers and subcontractors.
• Request RAMS for subcontractor visits.
• Notify customers of planned appointments per maintenance schedule and contract requirements.
• Issue work orders to field engineers via electronic system or phone.
• Liaise between customers and operations to ensure smooth delivery.
• Coordinate tasks to meet budgets and timescales for maintenance.

The Vacancy

Richard Irvin an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join the team based in Glasgow, UK. This is a part-time, permanent position, working over three days, ideally a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries.

Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.

Responsibilities

• Using PPM planner to create scheduled service visits for our own Mobile Engineers and sub-contractors to meet customer expectations and company objectives.
• Request RAMS for subcontractor visits
• Appropriate notification of planned appointments to customers/clients as per maintenance schedule/contract requirements
• Communication and issue of work orders to field based engineers either via our electronic job issue system or telephone as required
• Liaise between customer and operations management to ensure smooth operational delivery
• Co-ordinate and manage tasks to ensure maintenance delivery within allotted budget and timescales

Qualifications and Experience

• Good working knowledge of computer packages; Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent telephone skills and manner
• Effective communication skills both oral and written
• Experience working within a multi discipline office environment
• Experience working independently, on own initiative, and as part of a team
