Orion Electrotech are recruiting a Service Controller for a leading specialist vehicle manufacturer in Slough. You will be the heartbeat of the service department, coordinating engineer workloads and handling customer requests from enquiry to completion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Controller, Service Coordinator, Planner, Scheduler, or similar role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using SAP or similar service management systems would be advantageous.
• Experience within engineering, automotive, plant, fleet or technical service environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer service requests from initial enquiry through to completion
• Scheduling and coordinating engineer workloads to maximise efficiency
• Creating job cards, service notifications, and ordering required parts
• Tracking contract maintenance activities and ensuring service planners remain up to date
• Processing job sheets accurately and conducting customer follow-up calls
• Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders
• Supporting site meetings, operational processes, and health & safety initiatives
