Job summary

Worth Recruiting - Property Industry Recruitment is seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join a specialist property management team in Bromley. The role focuses on service charge accounts across a residential portfolio, working in an office-based environment.

You will prepare budgets, perform reconciliations and support property managers with financial management of developments. ACCA/CIMA/ACA background and property accounting experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with property industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of service charge accounting and reconciliations.
• Office-based role in a block/estate management environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual service charge budgets and accounts.
• Complete service charge reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Review expenditure and allocate costs to properties accurately.
• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Liaise with property managers, leaseholders and external stakeholders.
