Job summary

Accountancy Action in Borehamwood is seeking a service charge accountant to join a fast-paced team. The role will be 5 days in the office and then 4 days in the office after probation, with salary based on experience.

You will prepare income and expenditure reports for service charge accounts, liaise with an external accountant, and ensure year-end service charge accounts are completed on time while assisting with audits, arrears collection, and client reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in service charges is essential.
• Able to prepare trial balance manually.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager with budget reviews.

• Assist with collection of service charge arrears.
• Prepare client reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Assist with setting up new properties on the system and handovers.
• Ad hoc projects within the Accounts team.
