Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Centre Manager to lead day-to-day operations of an established independent service centre. You will manage a small team of vehicle technicians, plan workshop schedules, and ensure work is completed safely and to high standards.

You will also prepare estimates, manage stock, and nurture strong relationships with customers and suppliers while driving service profitability and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in the motor trade, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to identify revenue opportunities and improve profitability.

Duties for the Automotive Service Centre Manager position involve:

• Managing daily operations of the automotive service centre
• Leading and supporting a small team of vehicle technicians
• Managing workshop schedules and allocating workload efficientlyAssisting with workshop tasks such as diagnostic scanning, tyre fitting, and basic repairs when required
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to customer satisfaction
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Preparing estimates, managing stock, and reconciling supplier accounts
• Overseeing workplace health & safety and workshop housekeeping
• Contributing to business growth through excellent customer service and technical support

Requirements for the Automotive Service Centre Manager role include:
