Job summary

MasterMover, a leading UK provider of material handling solutions, seeks a Service Buyer to source spare parts and external services, support Service and Aftersales, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams. You will raise POs, track orders, and expedite where needed to keep downtime minimal.

The role requires procurement experience, strong organisation, and excellent communication to maintain records and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure spare parts, service components and external services for Service and Aftersales operations.
• Raise, manage and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Understand urgent and planned procurement requirements with Service teams.
• Expedite orders to support service delivery and minimise delays.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance including lead times and delivery.
• Support warranty, repair and returns processes.
• Maintain supplier and procurement records in systems.
• Assist with supplier invoice queries and discrepancies.
• Identify alternative sourcing options to meet service needs.

Position Overview

As Service Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring spare parts, service components and external services required to support our Service and Aftersales operations. Working closely with Service teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure materials and services are available when required, supporting efficient service delivery and minimising customer downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure spare parts, service components and external services to support Service and Aftersales operations.
