Job summary

Insignis Talent is seeking an experienced Buyer to join the Supply Chain team in a busy manufacturing environment. You will manage key suppliers across Engines & Mechanicals, Composites and Marine Components to ensure timely material orders and on-time delivery to production.

You will raise POs, monitor deliveries, and build strong supplier relationships while maintaining accurate ERP records. Strong communication and negotiation skills, plus the ability to read technical drawings, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Buying, Procurement or Supply Chain within manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience using an ERP system, ideally SAP.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and information.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

About You

• Previous experience in Buying, Procurement or Supply Chain within manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience using an ERP system, ideally SAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and information.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Organised, commercially aware and confident dealing with suppliers.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.

Experience within engineering, aerospace, marine, composites or mechanical components would be particularly useful.
