Job summary

MasterMover, a leading UK provider of material handling solutions, seeks a Service Buyer to source spare parts and external services, support Service and Aftersales, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams. You will raise POs, track orders, and expedite where needed to keep downtime minimal.

The role requires procurement experience, strong organisation, and excellent communication to maintain records and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, buying, procurement or supply chain roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to accurate records.
• Experience using ERP, purchasing or inventory management systems.
• Able to collaborate across departments and with suppliers.
• Proactive problem-solving to resolve supply issues.
• Experience supporting service, manufacturing or engineering operations.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure spare parts, service components and external services for Service and Aftersales operations.
• Raise, manage and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Understand urgent and planned procurement requirements with Service teams.
• Expedite orders to support service delivery and minimise delays.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance including lead times and delivery.
• Support warranty, repair and returns processes.
• Maintain supplier and procurement records in systems.
• Assist with supplier invoice queries and discrepancies.
• Identify alternative sourcing options to meet service needs.
• Support continuous improvement across procurement and service processes.
