Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Service Architecture Lead to define and govern service architecture for software-enabled products in Portsmouth, UK. The role ensures deployable, maintainable, diagnosable, and service-ready solutions across the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, service, and implementation teams.

You will drive design standards, lead reviews, and translate requirements into practical architecture while guiding cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s or equivalent in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years designing or architecting complex software-enabled systems or automation platforms.
• Ability to translate technical vision into actionable requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain service architecture standards and guardrails for software-enabled products.
• Lead Service Design Reviews across NPD and lifecycle programs to ensure deployability and upgradeability.
• Translate field and service requirements into architecture requirements early in development.
• Provide technical direction to cross-functional teams and external partners.
