Job summary

Cytiva in the United Kingdom is hiring a Field Service Engineer to service Cytiva systems on customer sites across the North London area and surrounding regions. You will also explore sales opportunities within the region as part of the Field Service team.

Applicants should be technically trained in mechanical, electrical or scientific fields with the ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently under tight schedules and to continuously improve service delivery, while adhering to EHS

Qualifications

• A Technical/College/ University graduate skilled in the mechanical, electrical or scientific field.
• Ability to execute maintenance tasks rapidly and to a schedule.
• Commitment to continual small improvements and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned activities installing equipment and resolving technical problems.
• Provide advice on instrument care and operation to customers.
• Organise preventive maintenance visits and coordinate with Sales.
• Maintain liaison with field service and Sales teams to meet customer needs.
• Seek opportunities to expand after-sales support while following EHS policies.
