Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Service Architecture Lead to define and govern service architecture for software-enabled products across the full product lifecycle. Based in Portsmouth or Bangalore, this on-site role drives standards and reusable patterns.

You will translate field and service requirements into technical architecture, lead SDRs, and guide cross-functional teams including engineers and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or a related technical discipline preferred; Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience designing, deploying, supporting, or architecting complex software-enabled systems, automation platforms, IT/OT environments, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply systems engineering thinking to connect software, infrastructure, networking, data, cybersecurity, service, and lifecycle requirements into practical architecture solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain service architecture standards and guardrails across software-enabled products.
  • Drive standardization of deployment architectures, reference designs, and reusable assets.
  • Lead Service Design Reviews across NPD and lifecycle programs to ensure deployability, recoverability, diagnostics, and upgradeability.
