Job summary

Vantage Motor Group Limited in Scarborough (Toyota Scarborough) is seeking a Service Advisor to manage service scheduling, quote accurate costs, and keep customers informed of timescales. You will promote genuine parts and upsell services, contributing to a positive customer experience.

The role is full-time, with Monday to Friday hours and alternate Saturdays on a rota. A full clean UK driving licence is essential, and a customer-focused mindset is highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Smart appearance, confident, professional and enthusiastic with a passion for delivering great customer service.
• Ability to build long-lasting relationships and understand customer needs to guide them to the right product/service.
• Ability to work on own initiative and coordinate workshop activity as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work on customer vehicles and provide accurate service estimates.
• Explain costs and timescales to customers and keep them informed.
• Promote genuine parts and accessories and upsell additional products/services.

New opportunity not to be missed ! Vantage arelooking for a Service Advisor to join our team based in Toyota Scarborough. In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £28,090.45 per annum (dependant on experience), up to £36,890.45 per annum including OTE with excellent benefits!

About the Role

This role involves providing excellent customer service to all ourcustomers through scheduling work on customer vehicles, providing accurateestimates for servicing, repairs and ensuring the customer is fully aware oflikely timescales and costs.

You will also be encouraged to promote the sale of genuine parts andaccessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additionalproducts/services and market current promotions.

This is a full time role and typically you will be expected to workMonday to Friday and alternative Saturdays on a rota basis.

To be successful in this role you will:

• - Have at least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• - Be of smart appearance, confident, professional and an enthusiasticindividual with a passion for delivering great customer service and a desire toexceed customer expectations.
• - Have the ability to build a long lasting relationship with ourcustomers and have a good understanding of their needs in order to guide themtowards the product/service.
• - Be able to work under your own initiative as well a part of a biggerteam and co-ordinate workshop activity to deliver agreed work.
• - You must hold a full clean UK Driving Licence.
