Service Advisor Career Opportunities in Milton Keynes

Duties

• Greet all customers cheerfully and attend to their requirements promptly.
• Obtain and record full customer and vehicle details, including an accurate description of work to be carried out.
• Liaise with the Foreman/Service Manager on the progress of vehicles in the Workshop.
• Inform customers of any delays in completion, complying with the Company Pledge.
• Maintain the Workshop loading system.
• Inform customers of any work that cannot be completed and arrange future appointments.
• Prepare both cash and account invoices.
• Present invoices to cash customers and receive payment before vehicle removal.
• Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
• Work with the Service Manager to ensure the Workshop utilizes full labor potential.
• Ensure warranty information is recorded on the Job Card.
• Liaise with Parts Department regarding parts on order and upcoming bookings.
• File Job Cards and other documentation systematically.
• Be flexible to cover a variety of duties across the company as required by management.

Responsibilities

• Promote good customer relations.
• Ensure customers’ instructions and requirements are accurately recorded and fulfilled.
• Sell available labor and services.
• Support and implement the Company’s Quality System according to relevant procedures.
• Observe Fire and Safety regulations at all times.
