What Would You Do As Our Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance across various products within the Traka range. This is a customer-facing role and requires the highest level of customer service at all times to meet the standards of our blue-chip customer base. This role will cover the heart of England, but could also involve other national and international travel.

You would also:

• Carry out annual on-site maintenance of Traka systems, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and standards.
• Follow safe working practices and adhere to both Traka and customer site health and safety policies.
• Provide support to customers, complete electronic documentation promptly, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Manage returns, document processes, and repair products where possible.
• Undertake additional tasks as requested by management to support company objectives.
  
  

The Skills And Experience You Need

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a UK driving license and is willing to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
• Has hands-on experience with electronic and electromechanical systems, hardware maintenance, and basic diagnostics.
• Is confident using laptops/tablets, with basic proficiency in the use and installation of various software packages, along with the ability and willingness to learn and use new software quickly.
• Is comfortable working on customer sites, adhering to safe practices, and maintaining accurate electronic records.
• Can pass high-level security checks and build long-term relationships with customers through professional service.
