Irizar UK is offering a Service Advisor Apprentice role based in Blyth. You will support the Aftersales team with warranty claims, bookings and customer inquiries while undertaking the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship through Doncaster College or North Lindsey College.

Day release is planned in a supportive, hands-on environment. Training will cover English and maths Functional Skills, with structured on- and off-the-job modules to build essential business administration

Kick-start your career with Irizar UK as a Service Advisor Apprentice! Gain hands-on experience in customer service, warranty administration, vehicle support and business operations. Work alongside industry professionals, develop valuable skills, support real projects and help keep vehicles on the road in a friendly team.

As a Service Advisor Apprentice, you will support the Aftersales team by managing warranty claims, handling customer enquiries, coordinating breakdowns and repair bookings, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with customers, engineers, suppliers and internal teams, while assisting with reporting, project work, travel arrangements, compliance documentation, health and safety activities, and general day-to-day administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing warranty claims and maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets
• Creating invoices through company systems to recover warranty costs
• Producing monthly reports on warranty recovery performance
• Assisting customers with breakdowns, repairs and service enquiries via telephone and email
• Booking warranty repairs and coordinating work with engineers, service agents and suppliers
• Building positive relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining records for field service engineer PPE, training and compliance documentation
• Managing service agent documentation and ensuring records remain up to date
• Arranging hotel accommodation, travel and factory visits for engineers and management
• Attending meetings, taking minutes and issuing action plans to attendees
• Supporting departmental projects and helping implement new processes and improvements
• Assisting with health and safety administration and compliance activities
• Participating in weekly team meetings and sharing ideas to help improve business performance

The successful candidate must have a driving licence or be able to get into the office within a reasonable commute time.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training.

You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or maths as 4’s and above.

About the Training

Training will be at Doncaster College or North Lindsey College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.

Day release.

You will undertake the Level 3 Business Administration standard.

You will undertake both on and off-the-job training by a team of industry qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge and experience to help you become a Business Administrator of the future!
