Job description

We are looking for a Aftersales Advisor to join our Leamington branch, which is part of the Green 4 Motor Company. With over 25 years of dealer experience, we want to continue to build on our reputation as one of the top 25 dealers in the country for providing first-class service to customers and business partners alike. Therefore, we are looking for an Aftersales Advisor who possesses that same ethos.

Our highly respected Mazda dealerships pride themselves on offering the best working environments available with ongoing training and development of all its colleagues and are seeking exceptional applicants looking to take on the challenge at this large volume operation.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour and parts.
  • Ensure that all manufacturers’ policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Assist with planning, forecasting, and delivering targets through the growth of workshop utilisation and efficiency.
  • Manage and develop the front of house service team.
  • Exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Book customer vehicles in for maintenance and/or repairs, and liaise with the workshop team to schedule the workload.
  • Meet customers on arrival and provide them with a seamless service, from drop-off to vehicle handover.
  • Update customers with progress on their vehicle, authorise additional work, and make follow-up calls.
  • Liaise with the Workshop, Parts, and Sales department to ensure customers' vehicles are ready on time.
  • Provide support for line managers.

About you

  • Previous experience in a Service Department having worked as a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or Workshop Controller.
  • Excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to a high standard, possessing a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage with other members of the dealership to encourage a smooth and efficient service for our customers, whether working independently or as part of a team.
  • Motor trade experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Able to work between 8.30am - 5.30pm on rota, plus alternate Saturday mornings.
