We are working with a main dealership in the Farnham area of Surrey, close to Guildford, Farnborough, and surrounding towns, who are seeking a Service Advisor.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Job Location – Farnham area of Surrey, close to Guildford, Farnborough, and surrounding towns

Salary - circa 27k

Service Advisor Duties include:

• Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
• Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
• Selling additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
• Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
• Producing job cards on in-house computer system
• Updating customer and vehicle records
• Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
• Preparation and completion of invoices

For this Service Advisor position, you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage
• Full driving licence

As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public. The client is looking for someone with strong customer service skills, excellent customer rapport, and the ability to deliver great CSI results, along with confidence in up-selling opportunities.
