Midlands Truck & Van Ltd in Dunstable is seeking Trailer Technicians to join our service team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and vehicles, diagnose faults, and ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards.

Join a Mercedes-Benz franchised dealer network with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. You will work on-site in a busy workshop, document work accurately, and support parts coordination to source required components.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance and repairs on trailers to industry standards.
• Ability to diagnose faults across a range of trailer systems.
• Commitment to health & safety and safe working practices on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and vehicles to VOSA standard.
• Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure roadworthiness.
• Liaise with parts department to obtain required components.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop and yard.
• Ensure all job cards and service sheets are completed accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.

Midlands Truck & Van is an approved Mercedes-Benz Franchised Commercial Vehicle Dealer with dedicated locations in Birmingham, Boston, Coventry, Dunstable, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Wellingborough and Wolverhampton.

We are currently looking for Trailer technicians to join our team in Dunstable.

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
• Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
• Liaise with parts department to attain parts
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
• Ensure appropriate clocking is made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
