Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor for a busy dealership in Orpington. The role suits candidates with strong customer-facing experience, good communication and the ability to work to targets.

A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required. Joining bonuses of £1,000 in month one plus £1,000 after 12 months accompany a package of benefits including 25 days’ holiday, pension and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is desirable but not essential; applicants with strong customer-facing experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work to targets will also be considered.
• A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main link between customers and the workshop
• Manage customer expectations throughout servicing and repair work
• Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and completion times
• Build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service
• Explain and recommend relevant additional products and services
• Follow up with customers after work is completed
• Work efficiently to achieve customer service and commercial targets
• Strong customer service and customer-facing experience
• Previous Service Advisor or automotive Aftersales experience is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence working towards targets and deadlines
• Strong organisational skills

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, plus 1 in 5 Saturdays, 8:00am–12:30pm
