Job Title: Service Advisor
Location: Colchester
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday

Your New Role
We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Service Advisorto join my clients busy team in Colchester. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient running of the Service Office, supporting both administrative functions and customer service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established business working with Agricultural, Horticultural, and Crane machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise job cards and process invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Complete all service department administration, including timesheets, warranty paperwork, and job card processing

  • Manage and maintain existing customer accounts while developing new customer relationships

  • Act as a key point of contact between customers and technicians regarding repairs and servicing

  • Deliver high levels of customer service and ensure communication is clear, professional, and timely

What My Client IsLooking For
  • Previous experience in a service department (Agricultural, Horticultural, Automotive, or similar industries preferred)

  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

  • Comfortable working in both office and workshop environments

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Discreet and professional when handling confidential information

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
