Job Opportunity: Service Advisor at Buckinghamshire Jaguar Land Rover

Location: Buckinghamshire Jaguar Land Rover, Aylesbury

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8am-12:30pm (paid as overtime)

Salary: Basic £30,000 + up to £4,800 bonus

Lookers Buckinghamshire Jaguar Land Rover is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team, which includes Service Advisors, Vehicle Technicians, Apprentices, and our enthusiastic Aftersales Manager Jen.

As a Service Advisor, you will benefit from continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand development and learn from our Aftersales Manager Jen. This role offers exciting prospects for progression within Lookers!

Responsibilities

1. Booking MOTs, services, and other repair work for customers
2. Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts/accessories
3. Coordinating with the Aftersales department to organize and schedule appointments based on workload
4. Managing a high volume of customers daily, including telephone calls and online bookings
5. Informing customers of turnaround times and maintaining effective communication during service
6. Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems accordingly

Qualifications

We seek energetic individuals with a warm personality and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. You should have strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport easily, and explain technical information clearly. Experience with Kerridge (also known as ADP) is advantageous.

You must be able to maintain accurate customer records, work well independently and as part of a team. We welcome applicants with experience in a similar automotive role or a passion for cars and customer service.
