Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth is recruiting for a Service Administrator / Driver to join their automotive team in Tamworth. The role blends administration, customer service and vehicle movements within a professional environment, with potential to secure a permanent position.

Responsibilities include helping customers, booking appointments, and coordinating with workshop staff in a busy setting. Monday–Friday, 08:00–18:00, with ongoing temp-to-perm prospects.

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence.
• Be 25 years of age or older for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A professional, friendly and confident manner.
• Confidence using computers, email and telephone systems.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional service.
• Booking customer appointments and managing service schedules.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
• Liaising with customers and workshop technicians to ensure effective communication.
• Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Carrying out general administrative duties.
• Moving customer vehicles around the site when required.
• Safely driving customer vehicles into and out of the service workshop.
