Job summary

Barnardo's in Peterborough is seeking a Service Administrator to act as the first contact for families and partner agencies. The post involves working across multiple Family Hub sites to support children and families with excellent service delivery.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with flexibility to move between hubs as needed. Permanent contract, 36.25 hours/week, salary £25,391–£26,164. Closing date 27 September 2026.

Peterborough Child and Family Centre Service delivers services across Peterborough from:

• East Family Hub (PE1)
• First Steps Family Hub (PE1)
• Honeyhill Family Hub (PE4)
• Orton Family Hub (PE2)

Staff work flexibly across all Family Hub sites to ensure the effective delivery of services and

support to children and families.

The core purpose of the service is to ensure that all children have the Best Start in Life and

achieve positive outcomes. A key focus is reaching the most vulnerable children and families

through a combination of universal open access and targeted services.
