A local council in East Midlands is seeking a Server Support Analyst to provide implementation and support for their IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience with Windows Server and Microsoft System Centre products, along with skills in customer service and ITIL processes. Salary: Starting Salary is £40,777 (Level one) rising to £44,075 (Level four) per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

The Server Support Analyst is a member of the Infrastructure Team. They provide specialist enterprise-level implementation, maintenance and support to the Council's IT infrastructure, supporting environments such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare vCentre and using tools such as the Microsoft System Centre suite. The analysts coordinate tasks with appropriate functions around the organisation and suppliers to ensure that systems administration tasks are completed to schedule and in line with ITIL standards, ensuring good practices, excellent documentation and high standards of operational effectiveness are implemented.
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
