Central Employment is working with an expanding, award-winning UK Search Agency, seeking to appoint an SEO Strategist, reporting to the Head of SEO.

Responsibilities of an SEO Strategist:

• Manage all SEO activities, including content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to improve rankings across major search networks.
• Execute tests, analyze data, identify trends and insights to maximize ROI in search campaigns.
• Develop systems and protocols to ensure all content is optimized across platforms and user experiences (websites, mobile, social media, videos, blogs, retail portals, etc.).
• Design and run various tests (A/B, multivariate) on topics like CRO, content optimization, UX, search terms, and landing pages to enhance performance.
• Manage campaign budgets, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
• Conduct ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
• Research and implement SEO best practices and recommendations.
• Analyze competitor advertising links.
• Develop and execute link building strategies.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new code.
• Coordinate with internal teams to incorporate SEO into content creation and programming.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO industry trends and best practices.
• Develop reports and communicate SEO campaign performance to internal teams and management.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 3 years of proven SEO experience and campaign implementation.
• Experience in sectors such as B2B technology, software distribution, and e-commerce.
• In-depth knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Moz).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, trend identification, and presentation.
• Active interest in the digital industry.
