Central Employment is working with an expanding, award-winning UK Search Agency, seeking to appoint an SEO Strategist, reporting to the Head of SEO.

Responsibilities of an SEO Strategist include:
- Managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to improve rankings on major search networks
- Executing tests, analyzing data, identifying trends and insights to maximize ROI in search campaigns
- Building systems and protocols to ensure content is optimized across platforms (websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, retail portals, etc.)
- Designing and running various tests (A/B, multivariate) on topics like CRO, content optimization, UX, search terms, and landing pages to enhance performance
- Managing campaign expenses, staying within budget, estimating costs, and reconciling discrepancies
- Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Researching and implementing SEO recommendations
- Analyzing competitor advertising links
- Developing and executing link-building strategies
- Collaborating with development teams to implement SEO best practices in new code
- Working with internal teams to incorporate SEO into content creation and programming
- Staying updated with the latest SEO industry trends and best practices
- Developing reports and providing feedback on SEO campaign performance
Minimum requirements include:
- At least 3 years of proven SEO experience and campaign implementation
- Experience in sectors such as B2B technology, software distribution, e-commerce
- In-depth knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Moz)
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and presentation
- A strong interest in the digital industry
