We’re looking for an ambitious SEO Executive to help deliver impactful SEO strategies across a wide range of sectors – from lifestyle and travel to financial services. Based in our Hatfield offices, you’ll join a tight-knit team working with national and international brands.

We’re a small, successful SEO and content marketing agency with big ambitions and a growing roster of clients. We combine data-driven insights and content expertise to create exceptional SEO that drives results.

As an SEO Executive, you’ll conduct technical SEO audits, identify optimisation opportunities, and implement them on client sites. From keyword research and content audits to building backlinks, you’ll have the opportunity to play a full role across the entire SEO spectrum. You’ll live and breathe SEO and be highly motivated to deliver high-performing optimisation that increases ranking performance and delivers relevant traffic to client sites.

You’ll get access to a full suite of SEO tools – from SEMrush to Screaming Frog – coupled with SEO training, development and skills growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct SEO site audits and investigations to identify issues with client websites.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and content optimisation.
• Optimise on-page elements such as internal/external linking, image alt text, graphics, and Schema markup.
• Conduct white-hat outreach tasks such as link-building, identifying opportunities for clients to build their links and improve their domain authority.
• Provide SEO support to our in-house and external content creators.
• Work with our design and development teams to help create effective SEO websites.
• Assist with website migrations, including pre-launch checks and post-launch validation.
• Track, analyse and report on SEO performance and use insights gained to drive improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in a relevant subject – or equivalent experience.
• At least two years’ experience in SEO, preferably within an agency.
• Able to identify and fix SEO technical issues with a website.
• Strong knowledge of on-page SEO.
• Ability to use Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Majestic, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Ability to analyse data and implement data-driven improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage own time and work on multiple projects.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
